happy 2 wks!

From my previous posts, you basically have an idea that I started working two weeks ago.

My first two work days were spent at Makati for the New Joiner’s Orientation. During the second day, we were informed about out project assignments. I was assigned to Managed Testing Services (MTS). The MTS home base is situated at the 37^th floor of Union Bank Plaza in Ortigas. That’s the blue building right across the famous Metrowalk, Ortigas’ gimmick haven. Unlike the other projects, we do not have our own PC yet. Hopefully by next week, we’ll have our own station na.

I think I’m in love… I’m in love with my current job. It’s like I’m attending school again because I’m learning new concepts each day. The only difference now is that the company shells out money for my tuition and I just have to attend and actively participate in each class. I’m learning and earning. Isn’t that amazing?

This week we had Facilitated Review Sessions (FRS) and I’ve already reported twice. We are done with the first part of the FRS. However, I don’t know what’s in store for us next week. I just want to have my own work station.

Yesterday, we had our first kris kringle thingy. The theme was something LOOONG and HARD! I got a toblerone bar and mentos. Heeheee my monito/monita forgot to remove the tag price of the toblerone bar.

On another note, we’ll be having the MTS Christmas Party on December 4. The new recruits are required to join the Carol Fest. Our group’s excited to perform and win! I will post our winning piece after the party.
