I was browsing through my rusty Friendster Blog and saw this particular entry:
:: NICE BAIT ::
Monday’s a non-working holiday as declared by PGMA… AGAIN!
Do you ever wonder why PGMA always declares Monday as a non-working holiday even if the said holiday falls on a Sunday?
Simply because that’s her way of seducing the younger generation. And those with peanut brains do catch her bait.
And when they get old, the dumb-o’s still remember her as the “non-working holiday” President.
“Ah, si Gloria ba ka nyo? Lagi kaming walang pasok nun kaya nga binoto ko s’ya, eh.”
Well, at least they remember her. Nice move, Gloria!
I see more holidays coming. And the feeling’s getting better and better.
Then, Ms. President, why not make the 31st another holiday?? Others need to visit the suburbs on the 1st. And I think that’s the most appropriate day for them to travel. Wachathink, Madaam?

i still won’t vote for her. never!

naalala ko tuloy yung mga chinecheckan kong exam sa ECE121. sil alvin arzadon yata yung nagsagot non. may bonus question kasi si mike abundo na: “Name 3 disasters in the Philippines for 2006″. sagot ba naman ni alvin, “Oil Spill, Nursing Board Exam Leakage, … and Gloria is still President.”
sine-share lang.

actually yung rason niyo is more ‘adult’ than that hehe. by providing long weekends, she’s actually encouraging people to go out, visit tourist spots in the Philippines. Well, yun yung advertised reason before, kasi i know dati she was really working with DOT. So if more Filipinos go out and spend money, our tourist spots will become more alive and basically help the economy.

wow, i didn’t know that! i was probably busy sleeping when they announced that in the news. =) anyway, wala namang pera ang karamihan sa mga pinoy (that includes me haha) so medyo wala rin sense.
and now my aunt told me that yung reason kung bakit di na holiday yung 31 eh nagagalit na raw ang mga businessmen/entrepreneurs kasi nalulugi sila sa dami ng holidays ngayong taon. is that true? pls enlighten me.
hi glory! wag mo akong ipadampot.
