REE Oathtaking
Last Wednesday, I attended the Oathtaking Ceremonies of the Registered Electrical Engineers where Emil’s the smartest ass. I got to the venue (PICC) earlier than the Pugoys so I decided to contact my blockmate, Scion, who as far as I know was also in the area for the IEEE Exhibit.
However, at that exact moment Scion was out having lunch with his comrades. So I opted to just stay outside the Plenary Hall. Nyahaha I was sorta avoiding a Thomasian inductee.
Flashbacks! High school life oh my high school life! Nooo! 
Ok back to the oathtaking ceremonies…
It was well… tadaaa… boring! Imagine a program full of long speeches. Add the fact that we were all starving and the program started late. And imagine this… the oathtaking tix were priced at 500 and Emil had to pay for his tix too. Boo ang mahal! As for me, libre nila ako. =)
It would have been more enjoyable if you guys had been there. It was nice to see Emil walk up the stage with his left dimple plastered on his face… as in all the time! Prior to that day, I told him to crack jokes just like the speaker in our College Recognition Rites. After delivering his speech, he glanced at me and mouthed, “Ayos lang ba?” Nervous man!
Unfortunately, I didn’t capture much of the said event on cam. I happened to take two shots though:

Nice Bait Part 2
I was browsing through my rusty Friendster Blog and saw this particular entry:

Monday’s a non-working holiday as declared by PGMA… AGAIN!
Do you ever wonder why PGMA always declares Monday as a non-working holiday even if the said holiday falls on a Sunday?
Simply because that’s her way of seducing the younger generation. And those with peanut brains do catch her bait.
And when they get old, the dumb-o’s still remember her as the “non-working holiday” President.
“Ah, si Gloria ba ka nyo? Lagi kaming walang pasok nun kaya nga binoto ko s’ya, eh.”
Well, at least they remember her. Nice move, Gloria!
I see more holidays coming. And the feeling’s getting better and better.
Then, Ms. President, why not make the 31st another holiday?? Others need to visit the suburbs on the 1st. And I think that’s the most appropriate day for them to travel. Wachathink, Madaam?
