WARNING: sabog post

just read scion’s blogspot and fil and may’s ljs for longer testimonies. nakakatamad na magkwento eh! anyway, here are pics from ige’s camera. i’ll just assume that you are interested to see these, ok? pag sinipag ako, lagyan ko captions and some kwento. ;P

this pic is probably one of a few others in which we were almost complete. we were fourteen all in allKelly, Ron, Niño, Dyan, Emil, Glenn, May, Liz, Elma, Scion, Ghe, Arpee, Fil, and Ige (the camera man).

8 of us had to commute from alabang to glenn’s place at hugom, san juan, batangas. that’s a few kilometers (exaggerated, haha!) away from La Luz Beach Resort. I didn’t know that it’s possible to reach that place using public transpo. Here’s a step by step procedure on how to get to Laiya /Hugom:
1. Ride a bus to Lipa City. The bus fare from Lipa to Shaw will cost you P109 so the fare from Quezon City to Lipa is probably around P130. Get off the bus at Lipa Star Tollway exit.

You could also ride an FX from Alabang to Lipa City. But make sure to bring your battery charged fans. The dispatcher there will tell you, “Lalamig din po pag nagbibiyahe na.” Do not be deceived by the Vanilla Air Freshener.

Travel time: 1.5 – 2 hours

2. Ride a Jeep to Bayan. Jeep fare is P7.50. Ask the driver to drop you off at P. Torres (tama ba?) Street. But the jeepneys do not exactly pass by that street so you better tell Manong Jeepney Driver where you are heading. If possible, try to use this line, “Kuya, kamukha n’yo po si Sam Milby. Pakibaba naman po kami sa sakayan papuntang San Juan.”
Travel time: 15 minutes

3. Ride a jeep to San Juan proper. Jeep fare is P40. Tell Manong Driver to drop you off at Petron Station. Ask the gasoline boys where the Laiya jeeps are parked.

Travel time: 1.5 hours

4. Ride a jeep to Laiya. Jeep fare is P30. Watch out for beach resorts to your right. Pero Warning: DIRT Road. And BEWARE OF THIS DRIVER (the one who is seated at the right):

Travel time: 1 – 1.5 hours
5. Hike, hike and more hiking. You will pass by La Luz Beach Resort which is way nearer than Hugom. Hiking time: 30 minutes

Or you could ride a boat. Boat ride costs P800 to P1000. Balikan na ‘to. Ouch ang mahal!

Ooops napahaba na. Enough of this nonsense. The thing is I had so much fun there! During the first night, I even initiated a game my Avo friends and I played in our last get together. We also played Pinoy Henyo. Inom lalabu. Burned the neighbor(the one who scolded us)’s kubo. Made bonfire. Inom more lalabu.
I enjoyed most Emil, Ige and I’s swimming (in my case snorkeling) expedition towards the coconut tree stuck in the middle of the ocean. It was a wonderful experience considering that I am not a good swimmer and I am scared of deep waters. Add the fact that I don’t have a lifevest on. Haha, basta ang saya! Saw three clown fishes, Dory, etc! Ang itim ko na!!

More pics next next week na nga lang pagbalik ko. Weeee bleep and bleep here Iwe come!!!
