life is boring but i love it
I spent the past few days doing nothing. It was definitely a sleep-eat-tv-net routine. I'm savoring this because I know when May comes, life won't be as easy. May means the start of our board review.
It’s Holy Week. Kuya brought The Passion of the Christ DVD so I was able to watch it again last night. That movie really is a must see! It's amazing how Jesus was able to endure those wounds. I don't know if I'd be able to sacrifice the same thing. Worse thing is I don't even know someone who is willing enough to do that. The world is full of sinners I must say. Lord, will you wait for me?
Anyway, do you know the pasyon? It's that Philippine tradition wherein they, usually the elders, relive the life of Jesus by singing verses from a booklet. Hmmm or not. I'm sure it's not the whole bible they are reading but I think they have a separate booklet for the pasyon. Will research on that matter later!
Every Holy Week they have the pasyon here in our block. You know what bothers me most is that after all the singing, which by the way is really excruciating to the ears, some of the "pasyoners" engross themselves with alcohol. Wow, they absolutely have their own definition of the word sacrifice. How sad.
BTW, I finally bought my grad ball dress. It looks really fabulous and it fits me well. Man, the downside of buying an RTW dress is that they mass produce it! Hoping that nobody’s planning to wear that same outfit! I also saw a grad dress similar to the one we ordered in Taal. The price tag is really a WHOA! I’m so lucky I got it for free. One problem though, I’m not used to wearing a 3-incher white sandals. Good luck to me!

love or not?
we went earlier to fetch nanay in naia. while waiting for her, this old german guy standing in the DEF passengers area caught everybody else's attention. he was carressing this young filipina in his oh so big arms and giving her oh so warm kisses on the lips. the filipina on the other hand was just smiling timidly. then this old german guy knelt down, held out the young filipina's hand and was apparently placing something in her finger. my peanut brain tells me it's a ring. then he stood up and hugged her again. and being the chismosa that i am, i immediately told tatay about it.
what a scene! something tells me that they are chat mates. don't want to elaborate on that matter, heeheehee!
but here's the catch, so after the carressing-hugging-kissing-proposing scene, here they come near the waiting area which led to the parking lot. so i caught a glimpse of the old german's white shirt. and guess what? it had that filipina's image printed on both sides of his shirt. the one on the back side was the seductive and almost naked version of that pinay, heehee.
